Kevin is a partner at Y Combinator providing seed funding to startups. He works with their portfolio companies on user experience design, product development and customer support. In 2006, he co-founded Wufoo, which was one of the earliest Y Combinator funded startups. The online form builder was later acquired by SurveyMonkey. Since 2005, Y Combinator funded over 800 startups and has a community of over 1600 founders. Their companies have a combined valuation of over $30B. Among their successful investments are Dropbox, Stripe, 9GAG, Code Academy, AIRBNB, Reddit and Homejoy.

His startup was founded out of MIT in Massachusetts in 2011 and helps local merchants to get discovered online. More than 30,000 businesses, including restaurants, spas, salons, photographers and home-remodeling companies are using his network platform. Rene established his idea in a course work at MIT working with Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web. GoDaddy just had its IPO earlier this year and Rene serves as the Vice President of the Emerging Products division.
